I am so proud and excited to share a new short series with you this month!

In early May, I had the honor and privilege of being the first musician hosted at a new audio artist residency in Ypsilanti, MI, The Listen Inn. Together with the residency's founder and producer, the exceptionally talented Juliet Hinely, we've collaborated on three new videos that present my more cherished songs in a brand new light in anticipation of my upcoming album PUSH!

These songs have been in the rotation of my live show for quite awhile, and all three of them are being arranged for string quartet, voice, and digital percussion for PUSH. PUSH's progress has been flourishing behind the scenes, but there's still a lot of work to do before I can share that music with you!

So upon arrival at the residency at The Listen Inn, I was inspired to express the raw intimacy of these songs in their pre-album form while visually portraying the vibrancy of my live show. Taking a nod from my LOW + NASTY EP, we used what tools we had at our disposal and shot these songs on an iPhone in vignette spaces around the residence. The result was a quick and intuitive collaboration in styling and music that produced three gorgeous live videos we'll present to you for the next three Fridays in June!
